Is Madam Boss The Beyoncé Of Zimbabwe?

Is local comedian Madam Boss real name Tyra Chikocho Zimbabwe’s very own Beyonce? A number of people have been calling Madam Boss, Zim’s own Beyonce. This comes after, Madam Boss posted a month ago a merged pic with Beyonce wearing resembling clothes. Recently, a video of her singing and dancing along to Beyonce’s song “Single Ladies’ at ZiFM Stereo studio which has been circulating on social media has got people saying that she is the Beyonce of Zim.


Madam Boss and Beyonce share have a few things in common, like the fact that they both sing, act and both have a great fashion sense, hence the reason why some might say she is Zimbabwe’s Beyonce.

Just like Beyonce, Madam Boss has an upbeat and inspiring personality, she is undeniably one of the most humble celebrities one can ever come across in Zimbabwe.

Freedom is the key to Beyoncé’s personality, whereas, on the other hand, Tyra is a free-spirited woman, who is adventurous and continues to live her life to the fullest no matter how people criticize and pass lewd comments at her. She is one woman who continues to make great strides both within her family life and career.

Madam Boss is Zimbabwe’s own version of Beyonce as she is multi-talented and possesses a variety of diverse abilities. She is an entrepreneur, comedienne, brand ambassador, and professional beauty therapist. Currently,  she is a trending Zimbabwean comedian who has carved her name in the country’s entertainment circuit.

She is also a gospel musician and has shared the stage with top acts including Shingisai Suluma and Kudzi Nyakudya, however, she has grown a huge following in her role as a comedian.


When it comes to dressing, just like Queen B – Madam Boss knows how to slay. She always causes commotion online with her sizzling hot looks. Despite the fact that she occasionally gets dragged online for her sometimes revealing ensembles, Madam Boss continues to stay true to herself.  Others argue that her choice of clothing is not appropriate for a married woman and is taboo in our culture.

However, the vivacious comedienne continues to dress the way she wants as she states that she is simply living her life according to her heart’s content.
