Johanne Masowe leader Madzibaba Spenlodge Madenyika received his first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine in the capital.
The vaccination campaign against Covid-19 continued with both Madzibaba Spenlodgy and Mutendi receiving their first doses of the vaccine.
Early weeks Madzibaba Spenlodge had announced that he planned on taking the vaccine.
Madzibaba Spenlodge who leads a Lusaka shrine in Highfield referred to the vaccination as “an ethical action, because you are gambling with your health, you are gambling with your life, but you are also gambling with the lives of others.”
Madzibaba encouraged church leaders and congregants to take the vaccine.
“I beg all church leaders to promote cooperation and not competition and to seek a solution for everyone, vaccines for all, especially for the most vulnerable and needy in all regions across Zimbabwe,” he said.
