Ba Tea ‘the time traveller’ whose existence was propelled onto the spotlight after predicting Ginimbi’s death and recently Soul Jah Love’s demise has decided to quit sharing his ‘visions’ following backlash for giving foresight of the Zimdancehall ‘hero’ Chibaba.
Ba Tea shared his decision on social media that he will, henceforth, desist from sharing whatever vision about any individual or the country from now onwards after receiving unfair backlashes from social media users dubbing him a fake Time Traveller who only did this to spruce his newly found ‘fame’.
Some went as far as labelling him the ‘prophet of doom/death’ as they claimed that he never predicts anything good all he ever does is predict death.
In his defense, Ba Tea argued that he was not using social media to seek fame or followers but as a Time traveller he felt that it was his duty to notify people of the impending danger as he could see in the future.
“I’m not on this World Wide Web to seek for fame nor for statuses nor for followers nor for views but as Time Traveller I’ve never claimed to be a prophet or a pastor yet I’ve let all of you judge me.
”I just want to make it point-blank clear kuti my message to Soul Jah Love had nothing to do with all of you but it was between me and him and our God. I believe kuti he did what needed to be done and that he is in a better place,” reads part of his statement.”
Following the death of Ginimbi, last year Ba Tea revealed that he was a time traveller and a messenger who can see the future through dreams and visions.
Ba Tea claimed that he has been having visions since 2006. Apparently, people only began to know about him after Ginimbi’s death.
